Designing through every sense

The brief that experiential most often fails is the brief that treats the installation as a photo opportunity. The category at its best engages four senses, gives the visitor something to do with their hands, and rewards a second visit.

We work with set designers, sound artists, lighting houses and a small group of speciality fabricators in Sungai Buloh and Penang. Most experiential builds we deliver use bespoke fabrication — almost nothing is off-the-shelf.

Common questions

Before an experiential brief

Do you travel the installation between cities?

Yes. We design experiential builds to disassemble cleanly and travel by truck or sea freight. A typical travelling exhibit will visit three to six cities over a quarter.

What is the minimum run time?

Seven days. Below seven days the build-to-run ratio is too steep for the brand to recover the investment. Most engagements run 10 to 30 days per city.

How do you measure experiential?

Reservation redemption, average dwell time, sensory rating from exit survey, return visits within the run and earned reach in social and editorial press.
