A working selection of events we have staged.

Eight events from the last eighteen months. We rotate this list as new work concludes and clients release rights to share.

Case notes

A closer look at six recent engagements

Each note is written by the producer who led the project. We share the brief, the central idea, what we built and what the measurable outcome looked like.

Borneo Industry Awards — gold drape, hard recognition

800 guests · Borneo Convention Centre Kuching · Petronas Sarawak as title sponsor

The brief. The awards had run for nine years in a hotel ballroom that no longer reflected the calibre of the recipients. The board wanted recognition that felt closer to a national-level televised event without the broadcast cost.

What we built. A 22-metre custom drape installation in deep plum and brushed gold, a centre stage redesigned around a procession of recipients rather than a podium, and a four-camera in-room edit delivered as a highlight film within 36 hours.

The outcome. Average dwell time after the formal programme rose by 47 minutes versus the prior year. The highlight film was distributed by three Sarawak news outlets and the Petronas regional channel.

Heritage Coffee — a three-day residency that ran for nine

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur · Heritage Coffee Co. · Speciality coffee launch

The brief. A single-origin Sarawak coffee launching into the Klang Valley market needed cultural credibility and shareable atmospherics without leaning on hashtags.

What we built. A botanical residency that turned a mall atrium into an after-hours dinner garden. A reservation-only tasting menu, a barista live-build station and a partnership with three Sarawak ceramicists who sold table pieces on consignment.

The outcome. 14× projected earned reach against social KPIs. The brand was offered three more residencies in the same mall network across the following twelve months.

A river-side 60th — discretion, dignity and a long table

Sarawak River pavilion · 90 guests · Private family commission

The brief. A 60th birthday for a Kuching family patriarch who explicitly did not want a function-hall event. Three generations under one roof, four spoken languages, and an unspoken request to keep family politics out of the styling.

What we built. A single 38-metre table set under festoon lanterns along a private river pavilion. A custom menu drawing on heritage recipes from three states. A discreet musical programme that moved from string trio to a Kuching choral arrangement at sunset.

The outcome. The most personal event our private studio has produced to date. The family commissioned us for a wedding eighteen months later, and a sibling for an anniversary dinner.

An energy-sector summit — broadcast-grade in a tropical hall

Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre · 1,200 attendees · Three-day regional summit

The brief. An energy-sector summit needed broadcast-grade staging without the broadcast price tag. The brief specifically called out the tired LED-wall-and-keynote-podium format used by every competitor conference in the region.

What we built. A rounded-ribbon stage with a slow-motion gradient background that responded to keynote energy. A keynote-to-fireside-to-panel rotation built around a single recurring visual motif. A delegate app fed live to second-screen content backstage.

The outcome. Net promoter score from the delegate exit survey rose 31 points against the prior year. The summit was extended to a fourth day in the next edition.

An automotive reveal — one shareable moment, engineered four ways

A regional motor brand · 320 invited guests · Sentul Depot Kuala Lumpur

The brief. A heritage automotive brand returning to Malaysia after eleven years wanted one moment from the night that could carry the entire content campaign for the quarter.

What we built. A staged reveal under a rotating gold ring-light, photographed by four pre-positioned cameras at heights between knee and ceiling, edited overnight and embargoed for a coordinated regional press release at 09:00 the next morning.

The outcome. The hero image ran across 22 regional outlets and was re-shared by the brand's global account within 48 hours.

A mirrored tunnel for a beauty house — built for the body, not the feed

Sunway Pyramid · 14-day residency · Regional beauty brand

The brief. A regional beauty brand wanted a flagship physical experience that would not flatten into a flat-lay on social. Sensory, slow, repeatable.

What we built. A 22-metre mirrored arched tunnel with a custom plum-and-amber lighting score that shifted every 90 seconds. A guided sampling moment at the midpoint, paid for through a reservation token rather than a queue.

The outcome. 38,000 reservation tokens redeemed over fourteen days. The brand commissioned a travelling version that opened in Penang and Johor Bahru in the following quarter.
